Toro's is the place for a Steak Challenge
We have a 1kg or a 2kg to choose from.
1kg Rules
You can choose from any of three cuts: Rump, Porterhouse or Scotch. Just let us know how you want it cooked and allow about 1-1 ½ hours for cooking.
Men have ½ hr to complete, women have an hour. All successful contestants will have their details taken and if they are in the top 10 fastest competitors, will be invited back to compete in the 1kg Eat off at the end of the financial year where you will compete against others to see who can finish first.
The winner will have the honour of being that year's 1kg Mega Steak Challenge Champion.
2kg Rules
Again you choose from Rump, Porterhouse or Scotch, but this time you must give us a minimum of 24 hrs notice so as to enable us to prepare your steak accordingly.
All contestants (male & female) have 1 hour to complete – you can go for a break but the clock still runs! Winners will receive a medallion and their name on the Toro’s Mega Steak Challenge Trophy.
If more than 1 person completes the challenge in 1 calendar year then there will be a Final to see who has the honour of being that years 2kg Mega Steak.
